Double Penetration...

Yup that's right, it's the most action I've had since I conceived this little guy! TMI? Oh sorry! I had my OB appt today. First violation was made by the x-tra large q-tip (routine pap). Second by the u/s probe (he at least wore a condom :). We got to see the gestational sac with the little yolkie guy inside. So cute! No fetal pole yet but OB says this is normal right now. She says I'm less then 5 weeks which my calculations is about 4 weeks 5 days so that's good to know we're measuring on schedule. I asked her if she'd keep me as a patient even though I've moved a little ways away. At first she was hesitant saying "you're high risk, you should be near your physician" But then I explained that I know there is no Dr on the planet that is going to treat me with the care and investment that she will. I mean this lady has been through it all with me. She even cried with me when I lost the last baby. What Dr does that? I feel like she deserves this baby as much as I do. After some consideration, she agreed that she is the best woman for this job! YAY! I'm so happy!

She's gonna send me for labs every 3 days so we'll know for sure if the HCG is rising as it should.

I go back in 2 weeks for another u/s and that's when the heart beat should be there. God willing!

Prior to going to see her I stopped by the RE's office for a blood draw. Numbers came back in the same day this time! HCG is 6713, Progesterone is 21.2 and Estradiol is 509. Obviously the HCG and the estradiol is awesome but wth is up with my progesterone dropping? I've been doing those damn suppositories 3 times a day for goodness sake. And let me tell you, it's not always convenient getting those things in! The nurse said the RE wants to see me for a u/s tomorrow. I told her I had one with the OB today but she said to go ahead and come in and see the RE anyway, that he wants a look for himself. Fine. I'll do it. Only because I get to see baby yolkie again :). You see going to the RE costs me out of pocket because he takes like the only very special insurance that probably people who can actually afford his services carry. Makes a whole lot of sense right? So no body's like me with plain ol' Blue Sheild get to cough it up on a regular basis. Oh well. It's for yolkie. I'll do anything for him :)
