And his very own first stocking came in the mail! Thank God for Pottery Barn still carrying this item in stock! I ordered mine and Nathanael's back in 2006!
Zech also attended his first Christmas Party at our house this last weekend, where he got yet another present from our little friend Nico! (Nico is the one holding him in the picture...he is practicing for his role as "big brother" come Feb. when his mama is due with #2!!) I just know one day my friends and I are going to look back at this photo and just bawl! They're all so little!
He also helped pick out his first Christmas tree!
Zech gave Nathanael and I our gifts early this year...he is saying mama and dada! Around Thanksgiving or so I kept hearing him say it but I couldn't believe he could formualte words this early. However, after listening more closely and hearing when he says it, yup he's saying it all right! He usually says mama when he cries and dada when he's having fun LOL! Figures! He also now shakes his head no whenever he doesn't want something or when you talk to him! It's hilarious! This one also snuck up on me, he was doing it here and there for a few days and then all of a sudden Monday it was the "no no no" head shake to everything! I love it! (remind me I said that when he's 2 and screaming "nooo!" at Target ok?)

Thanks for sharing all of Zechy's "firsts". I love the picture of Zech on the couch with Colin. Its like his is saying, "Taa-daa! Here's my friend!" And I can't wait to see all the pictures of him opening his presents. It looks like he loves Christmas already!!!!
