Yes I know Easter is not about the bunny, and yes I know the mall pics are a rip off and usually poor quality but seriously can you really put a price on this experience?!

HE DID IT! Our trip was a success! We got the picture (insert roar of applause)!
After the Santa fiasco of 2009 I wasn't quite sure how this was going to go. Definitely pleasantly surprised!On Easter Sunday we met daddy for church...
After naps, we went to the Grandparent's house where Zechy got an Easter basket from both his Grandma and his Auntie!!Here he is saying "Mom PHA-LEEEESE hurry and take the pic so I can open my baskets!"
There was lots of fun stuff in the baskets like a pinwheel....
And lollipops!
My very own Elmo cup.....
And some cool cookie monster sunglasses!
Then it was time for the hunt....
It took a minute but he eventually got the hang of it!

Auntie Myrna made confetti eggs and was cracking them on all the adults heads...here Zechy was a casualty of war and got some on him when his Auntie got his mama...at first he was very concerned mama was hurt and actually got mad at his Auntie! LOL
But then we showed him how's it's done and that meant everyone got a confetti egg cracked on their heads!
Including...(scoping out his next victim)
GRANDPA! (who was complaining about the mess the eggs were making until he realized his beloved Zechy was having fun...then the mess, not so much a word after that! :)
Zechy was done with the eggs and moved on to oranges...
He loves to pick them off the tree and have you peel them right then and there for him to eat.
Here's my nephews counting their loot...it's how we manipulate...umm I mean ....encourage them into participating in an Easter egg hunt at the ages 15 and 14...we put money in some eggs!
Grandpa found this little trike in his basement. I have no idea who's it was...
Zechy loves it!
We always got to attempt a family shot... Not too bad for a squiggly almost 2 y/o!

We celebrated Joseph's birthday on Easter as well!
Zechy got to practice for his own upcoming birthday by helping his cousin blow out his candles.
A cold drink in the Elmo cup after all that play...Ahhhh.... (side note, are those not the biggest brown eyes you've ever seen!?)
Back at home our spoiled little boy got a THIRD Easter basket! I know, I know, but come on he's only this little for a blink right?!

During bath time he got to try out his new bath crayons the Easter bunny aka Mommy gave him in his basket!
And he also played with the swimming guy he received that day as well!
Before bed it was time for a little Shrek, another gift from the Easter mommy :)
I think he likes it!
