First Day at Mommy & Me...

On March 9th Zechy started his first mommy and me class. He had a little bit of a difficult time the first day, as there were so many new toys to play with and just not enough playtime for his liking! Mrs. Johnson has lots of rules, one of which is to stay in circle time. And yea, that will take some practice for our little Zechy. But in time I am sure he'll get the hang of things. He did have fun making his very first art project and his shirt proves it.



Also it was one of his classmates birthdays so goodie bags were handed out at the end of class and to Zech's delight cookies were included! Needless to say, next class we will be sure to wear clothing that doesn't mind a little dirt on it :).

Though I am a little nervous that a lot is being expected of him at just 22 months, I would like for him to learn some of these basic rules of the classroom before the start of preschool next year. Let's hope next class we spend more time in circle time then with me outside consoling him :).
