Catching up...

Since I have been computerless for so long (this is what happens when you don't just pay the $$ for the bestbuy guy to fix your computer but rather have a friend do it who happens to have a REAL job and not all the time in the world. I mean doesn't he know I have blog posts to write?!) I am taking advantage of a rare opportunity to post a few pics. Just a couple of my favs from the last month. Hope you enjoy!


This is Zechy trying out baby Ava's new swing. "Weeee...Yup it's good to go" he says!



We pulled out his little pool finally Sept 1 :) It really use to be the dogs playpool but Zech has taken precedence...or so he thought....

At a pool party a few weeks ago.

And a treat, a daddy shoulder ride! Looong overdue! Obviously dad's back surgery was a success thus far!

We went to the library for the first time and low and behold they had animals there, a great treat for my animal loving boy! This picture cracks me up, "Are you lookin at me Mr. Lizard?"

And no blog post is complete without a story, now is it?! Thursday night I come home from work, I find Nathanael slightly dishevled, seemingly a little out of breath, but Zech is fast asleep.

Me- "So how did tonight go honey?"

Nathanael- "Umm ...it was ok."

Me- "Just ok? Did he give you trouble?"

Nathanael- "Well it was my fault."

Me- "What do you mean, your fault?"

Nathanael- "Well he kept doing the sign for mommy. I would say "Zechy mommy's at work she will be home later" but he wouldn't stop, he just kept signing mommy over and over and pointing at the door. Finally I said "Zech, no! No mommy! (picture Nathanael doing the sign for mommy and shaking his head no at the same time).

Me- "ok so what happened."

Nathanael- (dead serious tone) "NEVER, and I mean NEVER say and sign "no mommy".

Me- "that bad?"

Nathanael- Ohh yea...

LOL! Poor baby who knows what his little mind thought at the sign "no mommy!" However, he didn't appear traumatized the following morning when he saw me so I guess he didn't think I was dead afterall!!!
