10 months!!!

I am redundent every month, I know. But seriously where did the 10 months go!? He is just getting so smart and so mobile every day. I know every mom thinks her child is sooo "advanced" at any stage.....I am no exception :)

Our Zechariah LOVES to laugh, really. He gets the giggles and goes to town. Sometimes when he's tired he gets delirious and laughs uncontrolably for what seems like forever. Who knew having a baby around would insure you get to laugh everyday of your life!?

Zechariah can stand for quite some time. He can go from a squat to a stand and squat again. He has attempted to take steps...the most being 2, on a handful of occassions. I think he will be running by months end.

Zech really only wants what I call "human food". No more of this orgnaic baby food crap mama! If I am eating "human food" and I try to feed him baby food, he protests. He wants what I am having, there's no pulling a fast one on this baby!!. He even eats all the spicy stuff Nathanael and I drown our foods in. That's the Mexican in him I tell ya! :)

Zechariah now barks like a dog. He says mama, dada, and barks like a dog. Being the animal lovers that we are in our house, we happen to think there are no greater "first words".

He also claps and waves hi and bye.

I thought once he signed "more" while he was eating but I think that was an accident. He doesn't seem all that interested in baby signing, but we'll keep trying.

We call these pics "Will Stand for Chocolate" and apparently bookmarks (before bath I let him have chocolate. That thing he has in his hand is a bookmark that he decided was the next best thing to chocolate :)

Now you see why we anticipate running in his near future....
