Not only is he smiling up a storm, (open mouth ones too but I haven't got that on camera...yet!) he's also trying to laugh. If you laugh with him he goes "heh heh" it cracks me up everytime!
He's sleeping more and more through the night. We're now going down around 8;30 and he wakes around 1:30 am to eat and then again around 4:30-5. This makes for a much more rested mommy! He's also napping pretty consistently for an hour or so around 3 pm. So I think he's getting into a schedule. Well at least for this week. I'm sure things will change again just as soon as I get use to this one. During the day he's still eating about every 2 hours. I do look forward to when that stretches out a bit but for now it's ok. He's a growing little boy and needs his milky that's for sure. He kinda hates the car seat when it's just me and him driving. He'll usually fall asleep at the beginning of the ride but by the end he's screaming his head off...which breaks my heart but I have found that I can not simply stop the car every time he cries or else we really wouldn't get anywhere on time or get anything done. I guess babies don't realize groceries still need to be bought, dry cleaning picked up, dr's appts need to be had, etc...oh and sometimes mommy does do a Starbucks run but ONLY of he's sleeping. I don't sacrifice his comfort for my coffee addiction...see now that's LOVE :). When Nathanael comes along, he drives and I sit in the back and as long as Zechy can simply see me he's just fine. Zech is a major sling lover and so my back is hating life but again I sacrifice for his comfort :) I just hope he doesn't want to go to college in that thing. Honestly the sling is easier then that damn infant car seat. Ever tried to carry one of those? I think they're made for bionic amazon mommies with big guns because my wimpy little ass can not carry that heavy thing around that's for sure!
I just love sleeping pictures so here's a few more. Notice in the second one he kicked his socks off, and the paci is spit out too, he's so dramatic (hmmm I wonder where he gets that from?!)! N likes to say "he kicked his socks off in a fit of joy". For all you Dane Cook fans, you get that one. I laugh everytime, that joke never gets old.
And here's another one just because I love him and his little body. He loves to sit up like a big boy!

Oh my gosh...seriously, that first picture can't be ANY cuter. Not one bit! And the last one looks like he's got his "dukes" up for anyone who wants to mess with his mama! :) What a good mommy you are. I'm so happy for you.
