So I ordered Zechy's brand new, super cool backpack for his first day of school. It actually did not come in time for the 1st day but was here on time for his second day. I opened the box with much anticipation.....it was cuter in real life then it was in the Pottery Barn Catalog! I had his name engraved and everything:). I was so excited to surprise him with it! This am I had him come into the office with his eyes closed. I pulled it out and said "TA DA!" Zech takes one look at the backpack, then looks at the big box it arrived in and says "OHHHH Mama...did you buy me that box too?" Needing to somehow be the hero I say "Umm yea sure" and he grabs the box, runs off with it to play and yells over his little shoulder "THANKS MOM!"
Gotta love kids...
When it was time to go to school he was interested in wearing it so that's a good thing :)
