Mommy made an owwiee cake aka a spider cake.
No 3 yr old birthday party is complete w/o CAKE POPS! Zechy's new favorite dessert (and mommy's too, damn you Starbucks for introducing us to this delicasie :)
We had Spider and cute little Bubble Bees ...
It was the day before Easter so what better party favors then little baskets filled with owwiee stuff (bug catchers, plastic bugs, and gummy worms)

Zechy asked Gammy for a scooter for about ummm I don't know everyday for a month before his birthay and guess what?! Gammy delivered of course! He was sooo happy!

3 years...where did it all go!? I know it's so cliche but I remember like it was yesterday driving away from the hospital, the hillside burning behind us (there was a major fire going on), the heatwave that was occuring that week of April, and just breaking down and weeping in the back seat over his spanking new car seat while he slept that at last we had a baby....a real live baby to take home and call our very own!! So much has happened since then and through it all the one most awesome blessing is this little boy. This 3 year old little boy who brings me smiles and laughter when I least expect it. Who is becoming so intuitive to emotion..who's so very smart it blows my mind...who's the sweetest most precious most precocious most amazing being...and he's mine. All mine (ok I have to share him with NAthanael too but ykwim!;). Happy Third Birthday Zechariah....and MANY MANY more....
